Our Objectives.

      1. Identify families in real need through visits and investigations.
      2. Identify their basic needs and work towards provision to release them from poverty.
      3. Implement community based educational projects to show our awareness of the needs in the Himalayan areas.
      4. Work towards keeping families together and helping them to help themselves.

How Hi-Cap UK came about:

Freda Casagrande is the founder of Hi-Cap UK. She was just any ordinary trekker 5 years ago. After visiting  the Himalayan area of Mustang she returned to the UK with an urge to do something about the lives of the Himalayan families in the remotst areas and those smitten by circumstances due to severe illness. It was not easy but determination drove her on to set up Hi Cap UK and receive registration fro the Charities Commission in July 2006. She then she has managed to successfully set up a Children's Home now run by the locals, not satisfied with that had has commenced the project Practical Action To Help, and that is just what Hi Cap UK are doing.
